Urwerk UR-CC1 Black Cobra Watch

The new Black Cobra is in a black PVD coated case made from black AlTiN – a complex aluminum titanium alloy, better known as Aluminum Titane Nitride. 42mm wide on your wrist, the watch is almost 54mm tall. Inside the watch is a Urwerk made calibre UR-8.02 manually wound mechanical movement. The well over $100,000 Urwerk UR-CC1 Black Cobra watch will be limited to just 25 pieces.

Time is told on a few linear scales – styled like some retro speedometers. The lower scale is for the hours, then higher up you have the minutes, and at the top of the case is a seconds indicator. The hour and minute scales “jump” back to their starting positions when they reach the end of the line (according the Urwerk, that last little operation was a pain to develop). This is a custom leopard print diamond and sapphire Cosmograph Daytona, has turned up for sale via global online luxury marketplace JamesList for $46,000. Unsurprisingly, the hideous timepiece has never been worn, and is being offered for sale in Miami Beach. The special edition watch has an 18k yellow gold case with 36 baguette cognac sapphires, 48 diamonds on the end pieces, and a leopard print dial festooned with another eight diamonds. It comes on a leopard print leather strap with an 18k yellow gold deployable clasp.

Produced in London, the Digit Watch takes existing mechanical watch movements from major luxury watch brands such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, Breitling, Blancpain, and others (buyer can choose), and places them inside of an 18k white gold ring with an Aquamarine jewel face, decorated with 142 diamonds. The ring has a watch face on it, and a crown for winding and setting the movement.

A rare 2.52 carat vivid green diamond sold for $3.08 million. It set a new world-record price per carat for a green diamond at auction. Swiss jeweler Chatila paid $2.52 million for a 3.17-carat fancy intense blue diamond which set a new world-record price per carat for an intense blue diamond sold at auction. Chatila also paid $3.13 million for a 74.8-carat fancy vivid-yellow diamond ring. The sale brought in $36.68 million putting it safely above the pre-sale low estimate of $29.5 million. A total of 79 percent of the lots up for sale sold. Auction was called Sotheby’s “Magnificent Jewels” sale in Geneva this week

Patek Philippe Pocket Watch sets world record at $5M

A Patek Philippe Yellow Gold Calibre 89 pocket watch, the world’s most complex timepiece, just sold for a world record price of $5.068 million at Antiquorum’s 35th Anniversary Sale in Geneva.

“It indicates that the market for the most complicated and important watches in the world remains exceptionally strong,” notes Antiquorum Chairman Robert Maron. With a staggering 33 complications, the watch weighs nearly 2.5 lbs. and has an 18k yellow gold case.

It was made to honor the 150th anniversary of the famed Swiss watchmaker.

Comedian Katt Williams has officially been charged with burglary and criminal trespassing by a magistrate in Georgia his bond was set at $41,150.

Williams was arrested, after cops say a man named Daniel Broach claimed the comedian broke into his home on Sunday night and stole $3,555 worth of jewelry and collectible coins. Broach told cops Katt used a crowbar to break into his home

After posting the bail Katt’s lawyer said its a sham and is just the result of a dispute Katt had with a another man.
